The untitled Star Wars film about Han Solo’s younger years is likely casting one of these three actresses as the female lead.
According to Variety, Lucasfilm has narrowed down the list of contenders for the role to Zoë Kravitz, Tessa Thompson, and Naomi Scott.
Lucasfilm is reportedly going to choose one of these three actresses to star opposite Alden Ehrenreich, who’s stepping into Harrison Ford’s shoes as a young Han Solo.
If Zoë Kravitz lands the role, it’ll be quite a boon for the Kravitz family, who’ll have Divergent, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter (via Zoë’s role in Fantastic Beasts) and Star Wars between them.
Meanwhile, Tessa Thompson is already a part of the Disney family, as she’s also set star opposite Chris Hemsworth in the third Thor movie, titled Thor: Ragnarok.

Only Naomi Scott is relatively unknown to the sci-fi audience, although the Terra Nova actress is playing the Pink Ranger in the upcoming Power Rangers movie.
The Han Solo film is also looking to cast a young Lando Calrissian, who may or may not be played by Donald Glover — who’s also co-starring in Marvel’s Spider-Man! It’s getting quite incestuous up at Disney, no?
The LEGO Movie‘s Chris Miller and Phil Lord are helming the Han Solo movie, which is released in 2018. Meanwhile we’ve got Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode VIII to look forward to, that hit cinemas in December 2016 and 2017 respectively.
