This weekend’s Saturday Night Live was hosted by John Cena and brought out Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston to reprise his role as Walter White.
In the show’s cold open, CNN’s Jake Tapper and Trump’s senior advisor Kellyanne Conway welcome the President Elect’s choice for the Head of the DEA: Breaking Bad lead character Walter White. The bit was a play on Trump picking people for his cabinet who seem to be backwards choices for the roles they’re assigned.
Breaking Bad ended three years ago and is regarded as one of the greatest shows in TV history. So, it was nice to see Cranston “step into” the role again (and give us an “I am the one who knocks” reference).
Speaking of Trump, SNL parodied him again with a skit called “Through Donald’s Eyes”:
