Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hosted SNL last night for the fourth time in his career and things got a little risqué with newcomer Pete Davidson!
Last night’s episode of SNL opened with The Rock reprising a role from a previous hosting stint, parodying The Hulk and U.S. President Barack Obama in the sketch “The Rock Obama.” It also featured Leslie Jones as She Rock Obama, the alter ego of Michelle Obama.
The Rock then treated us to a monologue where he sang about how awesome he is at being in sequels. Although his singing skills leave something to be desired, the performance was fun nonetheless!
The Rock brought the WWE to SNL last night as well, talking smack on one of his fellow wrestlers but taking things just a little too far.
In a digital sketch, The Rock spoofed all the recent live-action Disney movies that have been released, such as Cinderella and Maleficent, playing Bambi with a bit of a “Fast and The Furious” twist.
In one of the most risqué sketches ever to air on SNL, The Rock and an innocent Pete Davidson get stuck in the jungle getting shot with venomous darts, with the only way of healing each other being to suck the venom out. The sketch features bare chests, some side butt, and a cartwheel maneuver that may leave fans covering their eyes!
SNL addressed Starbucks’ recent “Race Together” campaign by imagining what Pepboys would do if they borrowed the idea and discussed gender and sexual identity with customers:
Kate McKinnon kept her improv chops alive spoofing Robert Durst, the focus of the HBO documentary series The Jinx, in a sketch, complete with scary black eyes and a nervous twitch.
George Ezra was the musical guest during last night’s episode of SNL as well. Check out his two performances below:
Next week Michael Keaton will host Saturday Night Live with musical guest Carly Rae Jepsen.
