The stars of NBC’s Smash – Megan Hilty and Katharine McPhee – showed their stars and stripes pride during Fourth of July performances.
Hilty was the opening act on PBS’ A Capital Fourth in Washington, D.C., performing a medley of “I Want to Hear a Yankee Doodle Tune,” “The Yankee Doodle Boy,” “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and “God Bless America.”
Up the coast in New York City, Katharine McPhee performed a killer rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner” for Tide’s “My Story. Our Flag.” event – a social promotion to support Team USA in the Olympics by creating a 117-foot by 52-foot American flag out of fans’ stories.
What did you think of these patriotic performances?
