Tonight on Twitter, Director Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) announced the setting of his new Pixar film.

In his tweet he wrote, “So excited to finally reveal my next movie at Pixar: a story set in the world of the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos.”

For those of you not familiar with the holiday, it is translated into Day of the Dead, which is a celebration of family members who have died. Parties are held all throughout the country.

More details will surely be announced when it is closer to being released, which is not until 2015.

So, who else is excited for Lee Unkrich’s next movie?!

The film was also announced at CinemaCon this evening.
