Sunday night’s Academy Awards host Seth MacFarlane took to his Twitter today to reveal that he’s definitely not interested in hosting the Oscars again.
MacFarlane, who received mixed reviews about his performance Sunday, had this to say when a fan asked him if he’d do it again:
RT @crusephoto: @sethmacfarlaneWould you host the #Oscars again if asked? // No way.Lotta fun to have done it, though.

We assume he’s so against it because of the amount of time it takes to prepare. MacFarlane is a busy guy, having his multiple Fox animated shows as well as movie projects like Ted 2 and A Million Ways to Die in the West. He’s been so busy that he had to scrap plans to revive The Flintstones.
With MacFarlane delivering higher Oscar ratings than the 2012 telecast, many think The Academy would welcome him back to continue to draw in the younger viewers who know him primarily for Family Guy. There seems to be no chance of that happening in the next years, unless The Academy decided to throw a lot of money at him as bait.
So it begs the question…
