The highly-anticipated new series from Ryan Murphy will premiere in a special 2-hour event tonight on Fox!
Move over Glee and American Horror Story, there’s a new Ryan Murphy series for the world to become obsessed with as Scream Queens airs tonight at 8/7c. The super-sized, two hour series premiere seems to be one of the most highly-anticipated new series this fall.
Check out this preview featuring some footage from the episode, titled “Pretty Evil,” which sounds like a great alternative title to the show itself!
The cast is full of big names, some of whom are already known for their connection to the horror genre, including Jaime Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Glee’s Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuels, Billie Lourd, Diego Boneta, Lucien Laviscount, Glen Powell and music superstars Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas.
Additionally, just last week it was announced that Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of movie star and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, has been cast as well.
Horror legend Jamie Lee Curtis talked about her character Dean Munsch. “I play the dean of the college, who loathes the Greek system and every bad thing that it represents.”
“I wish I could tell you more but you know it’s a Ryan Murphy show so you know, we’ve signed in blood,” she says. Check out the video highlighting her character below:
The series will feature a death every episode according to Ryan Murphy, with the Red Devil mascot being the killer. Presumably we will find out who the killer is by the season finale — though knowing Ryan Murphy and his plot twists, that definitely can not be guaranteed. Some fans have already begun speculating who they think the Red Devil will be, noting that Schwarzenegger’s late casting notice may be an indication that his character is at least involved in some way.
