Last week’s episode of Scandal season 3 was one of the more exciting episodes of the season, so will episode 8 live up to the anticipation?
Scandal season 3, episode 8 titled “Vermont is For Lovers, Too” will see Olivia and her team battle two big problems in one balancing act. “Olivia and the team try to handle both uncovering the truth behind Operation Remington, while also managing a potential crisis with the Josie Marcus campaign,” reads the official synopsis. “Meanwhile, Quinn falls further down the rabbit hole with Charlie, and Cyrus creates a plan to take down Sally, but doesn’t think of the possible harm he could inflict on himself.”
Episode 7 included two big revelations: 1) Mellie was raped by Fitz’s father which she then used as leverage against her rapist to encourage Fitz to run for California Governor, and 2) Olivia’s mother Maya is actually alive and in a holding cell.

One of the big questions, as teased in the trailer, is why Maya was taken off the plane that was later shot down by President Fitz when he was in the military. Perhaps the answer to that question will come to fruition tonight.
