On tonight’s episode of Pretty Little Liars, Mike takes his shadiness a step further and continues to endanger the Liars.
This week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars opens up to the Liars giving blood at the Rosewood Blood Drive. While in the midst of cookie-shaming Emily, they hear a crash over by fridge of blood. They spot Mike, who looks like he just put something in his jacket pocket. All of the girls, except Aria, think that he took some of the blood samples in order to help Ali pin Mona’s murder on them.
Aria doesn’t have time to argue because she has a math test that she needs to pass in order to keep her acceptance into college. The test doesn’t go as she hoped and decides to copy the answers off of Andrew’s test. Afterwards, though, Andrew follows her out and tells her that he saw her. Instead of getting angry he offers to tudor her instead.
Hanna comes home after work to find Ashley sitting at the kitchen island. She tells Hanna that she spoke with Ted and told him the truth about her and Jason. Ted told her that he needed some time to think about everything.
That night Spencer is supposed to have plans with Toby but he flakes on her at the last minute. She decides, instead, to join Jonny to paint a mural over at Hollis. When they get there it’s just the two of them alone in the dark. They engage in some semi-flirting and Jonny encourages Spencer into spray painting a bit of the mural. She comes down off the ladder she falls off the last step and when Jonny catches her they get caught in a sexual tension-filled moment together.
Aria gets a call from a blocked number and it ends up being the jail calling on Mike’s phone. They say that Hank Mahony is on the line for but when she goes to speak the caller just hangs up. She confronts Mike about the call but he denies everything and wants her to stop harassing him. After Aria leaves, Mike chats online with Hank Mahony and they talk about bringing some sort of item somewhere. Mike goes over to the mini fridge in his room and pulls out a stolen vial of blood.
It’s closing time at The Brew and when Emily goes to clean up she sees Fitz doing paperwork. She tries to talk to him about the school Aria got into but it becomes obvious that he had no idea about it. They change the subject to Talia and Fitz reveals that Talia is actually married to a man.
The next morning Spencer bursts into the yard and runs up to Jonny shoving a newspaper in his face. The paper says that someone illegally painted on one of the buildings at Hollis. Apparently Jonny wasn’t hired to do the mural but was actually just vandalizing the campus.
At work Talia is trying to flirt with Emily but Em won’t have any of it. She snaps on Talia and tells her that she knows about her being married and leaves. On her way home Emily passes by Mike at an ATM. She grabs the receipt after he walks away and see that he takes out $18,000.
Aria and Andrew are having their study session at Aria’s house. Things start off a little uncomfortably when Andrew makes an awkward comment about Fitz not being able to help her out with math and science. They eventually get over it and seem to be really warming up to each other when Emily shows up and ruins the mood. On the porch she tells Aria about the money and they hear Mike get into the family car. They want to follow him but need Andrew to drive since they have no other ride. Mike leads them to a restaurant where they see Mike meeting up with Cyrus Petrillo, the man Ali claimed to kidnap her.
Hanna isn’t with them because she is having trouble with colleges and financial aid. She decides to go visit her dad and talk him about giving her money for college. His reaction isn’t what she’s hoping for and he just tells her he can’t because too busy paying Kate’s Dartmouth education. Hanna storms out and heads to The Brew looking for Emily. Ezra is the only one there so she turns to him for a shoulder to cry on. Ezra tells her about how he paid for college and gives her words of encouragement about how he always knew she was capably of going to college. Before she leaves she sees the “Miss Teen Glass Slipper” poster along with the $20,000 prize.
While staking out the restaurant, Spencer, Aria and Emily all get a text from “A” with a picture of their blood vials in it. They turn to leave but get cornered by Cyrus on his motorcycle. He is talking to them about making a deal when Andrew comes up behind him with a baseball bat in his hand and chases Cyrus away.
After she gets home, Emily gets a text from Talia asking to talk. Before she can respond Talia pulls up in her car. She tells Emily about her husband and says that they are no longer romantically involved. He knows about her attraction to women but they stay married because they are still best friends.
Aria and Hanna decide to spend the night at Spencer’s house because they are so scared of Mike. Spencer heads downstairs to get blankets and through the kitchen window Mike is watching them from outside.
The episode ends with “A” using the vials to plant their blood on some fabric.
