The Smash Chatters return to recap episode 2×13 of NBC’s Smash, “The Producers.”
-Ivy sang “The 20th Century Fox Mombo” in what we all agree felt like the first time in “three seasons.”
-How long has Bombshell been on Broadway for by this episode? And why aren’t ticket sales as hot in the beginning of the episode?
-Tom should’ve understood that Julia wouldn’t want to break her The Great Gatsby promise to Scott, given their rocky past.
-Ivy was in an awkward situation during the intense Tom and Julia q and a.
-Why wouldn’t Tom just join in on Gatsby to make it a musical? Isn’t that the easy fix?
-Jimmy was none to pleased to see Sam auditioning for Jimmy’s part, even though it’s for an understudy role.
-It was sometimes hard to tell both what was a mistake, and where Hit List separated from Smash‘s characters’ world.
-Jimmy’s stage exit was a failed Beyoncé mic throw.
-It would’ve been better if Kyle was able to come to his own terms to leave Jimmy, as opposed to being told he needed to.
-Why did Karen choose now to go for Derek?
-News: Smash will stay at 8 pm EST on Saturdays, and will skip a week on the 18th to air a 2-episode finale. Come on, NBC.
