Once Upon a Time season 6, episode 3, “The Other Shoe”:
-We learn a little more about Cinderella’s story, and we see how it differs from the classic tale.
-The actress playing the step-mother is fantastic.
-We have a concern or two about Clorinda’s motivation.
-Guns in Storybrooke: Were we the only ones jarred by the real world violence of seeing a shotgun on Once Upon a Time.
-Are Emma’s therapy sessions with Archie helping or hurting?
-We hope that Emma’s invitation to Hook to move in with her means she is done keeping secrets from him.
-Hook with the frosting and the little kid. Sigh. We dare him to be a cuter human.
-Snow is ready to get back to some normalcy, like during the curse.
-David is dealing with learning about his father’s murder and wants to avenge him.
-We like that they’re both thinking about things outside of just reacting to the latest crisis.
-Regina’s storylines seemed a little shoehorned into this episode, but clearly they wanted to keep her story involved.
-Maybe we will learn more about Regina and the Evil Queen in next week’s episode since we are going to get more of Jekyll and Hyde’s story.
-Speaking of Jekyll and Hyde, we can’t wait to see what is in store for them ahead. After meeting them in the season 5 finale, we have been looking forward to seeing more from both of these fantastic actors.
-What was with the Scottish poetry? We have expected to get Merida flashbacks.
-Belle. We really hope she doesn’t fall into any more Rumpel traps.
-Hopefully there’s a Samson situation going on with Rumpel’s hair only substitute selfishness for strength.
-Are we excited for more Aladdin in a couple weeks?
