Once Upon a Time season 6, episode 8, “I’ll Be Your Mirror”:

-Initial Reaction: Thumbs up/thumbs down
-Favorite Quotes
-Mirror talk. Brittany is scarred after that mirror-themed Once Upon a Time article.
-The mirror world: An interesting prison
-Could the Author ever find themselves in such a place?
-Aladdin’s thieving skills are finally utilized!
-Are we a little frustrated that Aladdin and Jasmine’s story has been put on the back-burner?
-Is Jafar in the lamp? We did a little wikia searching after the episode.
-Snow and David. Sigh. Adorable montage, but this curse is definitely wearing on them.
-Hook is definitely onto the Evil Queen’s story about Emma from the start. We are happy to see him trusting his instincts.
-Hook kinda sorta saves the day… a little.
-Stopping the Evil Queen is going to require someone else making the plans besides Regina.
-We are all pro-‘Henry gets a storyline.’ He was fantastic in this episode.
-Was the Evil Queen going to kill Henry in those final moments? He really cut her to the quick with the “you’re always going to be alone” talk.
-The Evil Queen’s reminded that “Love is weakness” by Rumpel, and that could propel her to cross a line somewhere in the near future.
-Regina and Emma are both struggling with feeling helpless: Emma against her impending doom, and Regina against the Evil Queen.
-These two characters have grown from bringing out the worst in each other to bringing out the best. Talk about growth.
-Rumpel just happens to have the Hammer of Hephaestus and that makes Karen SO happy.
-Was Henry smashing the mirror too predictable?
-Henry is so quite the smooth talker.
-The Evil Queen promises to be Rumpel’s ally when he hands over the hammer.
-He calls that up and makes his move in the final moments of the episode.
-Do you think Belle would go back to Rumpel at this point? Or is she finally seeing him clearly?
-The Evil Queen hesitates at Rumpel’s declaration that they need to kill Zelena. Do you think this is because she’s her sister, or is she just a tool that the Evil Queen doesn’t want to relinquish?
-No new Once Upon a Time episode next week, but we’ll be back after the Thanksgiving holiday with our review of episode 9, “Changelings.”
-Addressing some overdue listener feedback regarding ratings.
