Once Upon a Time season 5, episode 22, “Only You” and episode 23, “An Untold Story”:

Goodbye Camelot/Merida/Merry Men
-Sayonara people of Camelot.
-Bye Roland! We’ll probably never see you again.
-We were sad to say goodbye to Merida, though. Hopefully she’ll show up again along with Mulan, Red, and Dorothy.

Regina’s exciting new storyline
-Regina and Emma alone in a space that is special to Emma (Neal’s apartment) allowed them to truly bond.
-Regina is the most complex and dynamic character on this show, and we’re so glad to see her at the forefront again.
-We address our concerns with the Regina/Evil Queen storyline and how it may fit into the Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde story as well.
-The Evil Queen will have to find her way to Maine somehow…
-We can’t wait to see Henry get a glimpse at The Evil Queen as a force outside of being “Mom.”

Henry goes for the gold when he gets his own storyline.
-Henry went for the Gold on this one. Time to erase ALL MAGIC from Storybrooke in one fell swoop. A little overzealous there.
-We all had a little secondhand embarrassment when Henry addressed the ‘People of New York!’

Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde is a classic we can get behind
-We are ALL here for Mr. Hyde. Perfect casting there.
-Each of us gets a chance to share our excitement about this new direction for Once Upon a Time.
-We may or may not have suspected a Jedi connection for a second with that other guy in the Jekyll/Hyde world. So glad they didn’t go there.
-The Land of Untold Stories is exciting because it opens up so many new avenues for classic literature and characters.
-Seeing the magical connection to all of the classic stories will be fun as well.

Odds and Ends
-Zelena: We’re a little split on her character.
-There’s no debate on Rumpel. We’re over him and his awful choices.
-Do we want to see more of Violet? Are we happy to see her sticking around? She’s Henry’s perfect match.
-Emma had a little character moment. Nobody’s in mortal peril, and she’s able to say, “I love you.” *swoon*
