– Our guest this week is Will Wallace, the Teen Wolf writers’ assistant.
– We learn exactly what this role entails, and how Will came to be a part of the show.
– An interesting part of Will’s job is researching the details and processes needed to make the show look realistic! We could talk about this all day.
– Will played a big part in developing the Nemeton storyline, even before he was hired for the show.
– We also hear about how the show keeps track of continuity and canon.
– Teen Wolf recently attended PaleyFest, and we discuss what this means for the show.
– We also discuss the departure of Tyler Hoechlin as a series regular – Will reminds us that Jeff Davis loves a big entrance, so imagine what it’s going to be like when Derek does return!
– Will tells us about what the writers to do prepare for a new season, and how the overall story for the year gets put together and then broken down into episodes.
– Along with his assistant duties, he’ll also be heading up the screenwriting on an episode this season!
– We ask about the inclusion of the new monster, as designed by a fan for the Creature Feature competition. Apparently it was a very organic fit.
– We also try and get a few hints about the mythology coming in season 5!
– We quiz Will as a fan and he gushes about his favorite character, favorite plot and favorite ship.

– One of the coolest experiences he had was helping to make the season 2 opening credits – this is a great story.
– We discuss Will’s dream guest stars, including Doug Jones as Barrow, and his fantasy plot, based in Romanian mythology. Maybe for season 9, he says.
– We’re sure the pack has plenty of beach days and ice cream dates in the nine months a year the show is off-air.
