– Surprise – we’ve grabbed the writer of this week’s episode, Alyssa Clark!
– On an unrelated note, this episode may contain some bad language.
– Just kidding – it’s totally related.
– Teen Wolf is about to start re-shoots, and Alyssa is working on some last-minute episodes. We’re keeping her from actually making the show good… sorry guys.
– Alyssa doesn’t have Twitter, but you can direct any compliments to us.
– You can direct any complains to co-writer Ian Stokes.
– Satomi and Derek are the stars of our quotes section.
– A Teen Wolf Christmas Episode? …nah.
– Natalie absolutely hates quarantine, and Alyssa is stoked by her horror.
– “Everyone needs a little more fear in their life.”
– The Chemist – we learn a few things about both the actor and the character’s creation.
– The show keeps addressing all the issues and questions we raise – yay!
– The money issues are an incredibly important theme for the whole season – even down to the opening titles.
– If Scott and Stiles asked, would Derek give them the money? Well, he does have a lot of new Camaros to buy…
– Did anyone see void!Stiles doing all those murders? No?
– How did we like the re-introduction of Satomi?
– What are her pack dynamics like, and what kind of alpha is she?
– We get kinda technical about the PSATs.
– Coach has been sober for 15 years? Alyssa reminds us of some moments to look back on.
– Good adulting from Ms Martin this episode, and she has a great first name ;)
– Jeff and the writers didn’t want the conflict of this show to be based in the parents being dumb and naive.
– Scott McCall continues his hero worship of cool moms.
– Alyssa makes everyone google smallpox. Mistake.
– Who shot Braeden? It was NOT the Chemist.
– There was some well-thought-out subtext regarding types of killers – it was the Chemist’s undoing when he picked up a gun.
– Natalie goes crazy and thinks she dreamed a bit of the episode, but no, it’s real.
– Satomi’s pack is like a shelter for runaway wolf cubs – would it be a good fit for Derek? He could meditate.
– If Kate was Braeden’s shooter… why was she with Satomi’s poisoned pack? Alyssa ain’t telling.
– Karen really appreciated Lydia’s apology to Meredith.
– So.. that photo of Meredith was taken at the lake house. What a funny coincidence, right?
– “She’s a long-distance runner.” Alyssa likes discovering Lydia’s powers with her, and she’s very protective of the character.
– We liked the little situation with Kira and the needle, but not everyone at Teen Wolf HQ quite understood the issue.
– Alyssa doesn’t mind getting needles done because she gets to eat little sandwiches after.
– Dr Wentz ain’t got no time for McCall and Sheriff having emotions about their children. Hey, we have a Wentz on the podcast. What a funny coincidence, right?
– Admittedly, Scott and Stiles are not handling the whole Malia Hale thing very well.
– Would she really go to Peter? What about bear trap dad?
– Karen met bear trap dad at Comic-Con, by the way.
– “It’s kinda like waking up and finding out that you’re a Kennedy.”
– Stiles ain’t shy about wanting that money.
– Bearer bonds are pretty rare – would this be a way to track down the Benefactor?
– Where is Derek’s financial advisor?
– At the end of the day, it was Distemper vs Tea, and tea won.
– It’s sappy, but we utterly loved the moment of normal Derek having non-traumatic memories.
– Still loving the basic biological dog enhancements.
– McCall shot that dude right in the head. Any consequences?
– God, the autopsy but was so gross as well, Jeff needs to stop watching Hannibal.
– Ink butts. You’ll see.
– Get vaccinated, people!
– “There will always be more chances for brain matter.”
– Alyssa has strong feelings on the Stiles/Malia dynamic – it’s a relationship formed in the trenches.
– The assassins – even the Mute – are all definitely human. The Orphans were “the 21 Jump Street of assassins.”
– A big shout-out to all the team who worked on this episode with Alyssa,
– Fandom’s been talking trash about the absence of our boy Parrish – “Parrish is not a coward,” Alyssa confirms.
– He was probably saving Liam from where he was stuck in a tree.
– Was this bottle episode a game changer in any way?
– Derek did get hit by that shooter – uhoh.
– Our non sequitur is actually about the creative process, but somehow comes back around, once again, to Tremors.
