Episode #98 – Into the Elevator

Hosted by John Thrasher, Jack Farrguia, Mitchel Clow, and Caitlin Kelly

January 31, 2015

The Glee Chat episode for Glee 6×05, “The Hurt Locker, Part II” is here! Tune in to our thoughts on this wrap-up of the two-parter.

-John is a young 29-er, 16.
-We’re still not over Echolls in this show.
-John’s doing a podcast of his own called Currently!
-And Mitch and Jack are too (soon enough).
-Chiming in when you’re not in a podcast is a thing.

Glee season 6, episode 5, “The Hurt Locker, Part II.”

-John really liked these two past episodes.
-Jack pretends that the last episode of Glee never happened.
-Caitlin jumps in disagreeing with John’s argument that this show shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
-Is reflecting the fandom’s wishes in the show okay?
-If we’ve all stuck behind Glee for so long, don’t we deserve better by this point?
-What should our expectations in a final season be?
-Perhaps we’d be less disturbed if this Klaine stuff wasn’t moving the plot along.
-John takes the UnWanted poorly, and Mitch comes to Natalie’s defense.
-Caitlin can’t even make words about the Klaine shrine. Only noises.
-This all would’ve been better if just Sue’s vendetta against Will was the only thing she was all about.
-Becca and Lea are probably pretty good friends with each other by this point.
-Who’s the mastermind behind everything in Glee.
-It seems like Mercedes will hear about the Sam/Rachel stuff that’s going on!
-Mitch wants Sam and Spencer.
-Blam endgame?
-How can Mercedes and Artie be regulars if they haven’t had a real plot yet?
-Is it okay for us to ship Samcer?
-It seems the Blaine really is over Kurt if Blaine was to bring up Dave so casually.
-This wasn’t cheating or romantic because they were drugged.
-Three slow songs in a row were kind of boring…
-Was it offensive for Sue to say that “you’ll be sleeping inside each other” gay line?
