Episode #82 – Mall Tours

Hosted by John Thrasher, Natalie Fisher, Mitchel Clow, and Caitlin Kelly

May 16, 2014

Glee Chat is back to discuss the season finale of season 5 of Glee, “The Untitled Rachel Berry Project.”

Shownotes:

-Episode numbers are so last year.
-The singing episode of Glee Chat is teased once again.
-Don’t worry Caitlin, there’s always auto-tune.
-And suddenly, Brittany. Was Santana written out of this episode?
-Does Ryan Murphy write bad plots for actors that he doesn’t like?
-Wow Mary made us absolutley miserable.
-Was June homophobic or just trying to get Blaine to break up with Kurt for personal reasons?
-What is the message we’re meant to interpret of Klaine by this point?
-Mercedes is only releasing “joke” songs. Is she looking to be taken as a serious artist?
Jo Jonas’ Vulture article took a giant dump on Disney.
-Would a photographer even pick their model?
Glee just needs a Veronica Mars-like therapy episode.
-Why do Klaine’s fights repeat the same rhythm?
-So that’s the ending of season 5?
-We really don’t want Sam to take over Finn’s role.
-Sam must’ve gotten his inspiration from that guy who lived in the SUNY Binghamton boiler room.
-“Glitter in the Air” is apparently Lea’s favorite song of all time.
-Mitch thought “American Boy” was a good way of hiding the nails-on-chalkboard effect of Darren’s and Chris’ voices combining.
-Okay, Chris, it’s your turn for a Glee tell-all.
-Or maybe Jenna should do one?
-“Pompeii” worked as a great metaphor for each character’s story.
-Woah wait they just broke the fourth wall majorly.
-We come out with some crack theories about what Rachel’s look at the end of the episode will mean for next season.
-Season 6 will come back in January as a result of the continuing poor ratings.
-How far ahead will Season 6 be in the show’s universe?
-Although Glee won’t be back until next year, Glee Chat will continue on throughout the long hiatus…
