Episode #100 – One Hundred

Hosted by Natalie Fisher, John Thrasher, Caitlin Kelly, Mitchel Clow, and Jack Farrugia

February 14, 2015

Glee Chat is back for our 100th episode! We also recap Glee season 6, episode 7, “Transitioning.”

-There is more Glee Chat running time in the world than there is Glee.
-We’re the first original Hypable podcast to reach episode 100!
ATW Chat is a really fun vlog that Jack, Jess, Mitch and Simone did way back when.
-John teases about the original audition tapes of the podcast hosts.
-We’re all sad JohnThrasher.net doesn’t exist anymore OHWAIT johnthrasher.wordpress.com
-Let’s have a kiki.

Glee season 6, episode 7, “Transitioning”

-Are the episode titles generally good or bad?
-Clint can be fairly difficult to understand at times.
-Bon Jovi makes for a great performance song.
-Will, please don’t rap.
-But VA wasn’t even being intolerant at this point.
-Enter Sheldon Beiste.
-John wants Dot to win an Emmy for this.
-We officially quit trying to understand this timeline.
The Grudge moment might’ve given us a glimpse of Scream Queens, which Lea will be starring in this Fall.
-Why did you feel the need to move the wheel that one more tick, Kurt?
-We’re still not sure how to feel about Samchel, especially after the hypnotism.
-Should Finn have been mentioned in the very least during the course of this episode?
-As long as the inevitable Finn/Cory tribute is better than that VMA’s Robin William’s one, we’ll appreciate it.
-John’s life is once again mimicked in Glee.
-The official Glee twitter account responded back to John!
-John has to head off for the night, so Natalie takes over as host for the rest.
-Samcedes is still likely endgame.
-Quick spoiler alert for an upcoming episode synopsis! Fast forward about 1 minute when Mitch says “fast forward 30 seconds” if you don’t want to hear it.
-Why was there the need for that Klaine kiss?
-Kurt is being a manipulating bitch for no reason because he’s been dating Walter this whole time.
-Why did Dave just let Blaine go that easily?
-We theorize that anyone that still ships Klaine is taking the “I will go down with this ship” stance.
-They gave Sue the voice of the fandom, and now we have a messed up plot as a result.
-Oh boy, the sex pollen will run rampant in the next episode.
-We support Tina asking Mike to marry her before we support Klaine.
-Are we going to see Sue/Beiste?
-Another big spoiler chat after the credits about the Warblers!
-Jack really appreciates how they brought Unique back in.
-Did they do a specific form of makeup to make Beiste’s face more masculine?
-This would’ve been a great moment for “No One Is Alone” instead of when it originally was, but we’ll take “I Know Where I’m Goin’.”
-So was the lesson that Will wanted to give just that he really wanted to quit dramatically?
-Oh yeah Will, get to know the new kids? Like you did the 2.0’s?
-Natalie suggests a Chris Evans movie where Matthew Morrison and Ashley Tisdale star as themselves called “Playing It Cool.”
-Are we going to get more Spencer development now?
-Baecedes rocked that morally horrible song “All About That Bass”
-Some song spoilers, Mitch catches one and asks once again to skip 30 seconds if you don’t want to hear it!
-Feedback includes some Natalie love, some more Chris Evans love, Will hatred and Vocal Adrenaline confusion.
-And special 100th episode trivia made by Jack!

Stay tuned after the credits for a roughly 20 minute spoiler discussion on heavy plot details revealed of the upcoming episodes of Glee.
