I feel horrible for Alaric, first he ws possessed by Klaus and now he is possessed or whatever by this new thing. I love him and I feel like anytime they need a good story line they do something horrible to Alaric. Also, I think they had Elena call Jeremy to show that she is pretty much at her breaking point and Jeremy is just fine and dandy wherever he is, almost showing Elena that her life could be better if she just rid herself of all the supernatural stuff. I also think, however, this means the eoic return of Jeremy this week. I guess we will find out tomorrow :)

  I think that Elena called Jeremy to remember that there is a life outside of the supernatural. Even though she is so tangled in it, talking to Jeremy about “normal” life keeps her sane. When they briefly talked about school I was kind of taken by surprise. I completly forgot that Elena as well as Bonnie, Caroline, and Matt are still in school. (And what about Mr. Saltzman?!) I tried to remember the last time that school was mentioned… I know it’s not a priority in the show, but has anyone else completly forgotten about the “normal” part of each of these charcters’ lives? I have.

TSC:wow i was really not expecting john to have powers it through me off completly now i can’t decide if he has cassies best interest or not

This week’s ep of TSC has got 2 weird theories forming in my head.

1. Cassie is gonna get framed for the murder of Faye’s grandfather.

2. John cheated on Amelia. Amelia got seriously pissed and did a love spell on Ethan(kind of how the love potion works in HP) to make John jealous. Part of this spell involves the stars on the ceiling of Amelia’s(now Cassie’s bedroom). So when it says their love was written in the stars, it means it was literally written in the stars(on the ceiling of Amelia’s bedroom). The spell is now affecting their progeny(hence the whole Adam and Cassie written in the stars thing). Once someone realizes and takes the stars off the roof, the spell breaks.

I’d like to stress the point that book John is entirely different to TV John. In the books, John is pure evil. Like, Voldemort evil. In the show, he does bad things but he does it for good reasons. If he was evil, he’d be pushing Cassie to use more dark magic, not less and they could be devil witches together. I’d also mention that, with a Circle only being 6, there aren’t enough witches for John to do the whole pairing off thing to create a stronger progeny.

On a VD note, why was the ring killing Counsel members in 1912? We already know they were little to no vamps in Mystic Falls back then. So why was the ring getting Samantha Gilbert to kill them?
