Part one of our Glee two-hour special recap is here! The Smash Chatters, Mitch, Megan, Coty and Jessica, weigh in their thoughts with John about 3 x 20 “Props!”

– The episode started off with Rachel singing on stage to herself to a Celine Deon song. Everyone agrees that her voice really shines whenever she sings Celine!

– It once again appears as though the FOX executives must be listening to Glee Chat, as Tina is given an A plot story, along with an extended acknowledgment of  her absence. We’ve complained about both of these things many times!

– It was fun to see all of the characters dressed up as each other, but John had a hard time keeping straight who was who in his mind.

– Mitch questions whether Tina and Rachel are a fan couple already, and if not, then they must after this episode!

– John notes that Artie and Mercedes kissed as Britanna, potentially unveiling Fox’s aversion to showing the girls themselves kiss.

– Puck and Rick’s fight was pretty intense! The storyline with knives in this episode was pretty scary at times too, fake or not!

– Glee performed its first Taylor Swift song with “Mean,” which impressed most of us!

– Coty comments that the final number “What a Feeling” sung by Tina and Rachel as New Directions left Lima did what Glee should always do: made him happy.

– News stories cover this cast of co-host’s take on Glee’s new Thursday timeslot for season four, and the just announced guest stars of Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson.
