Okay, as far as the new story–I don’t want anything that is similar enough with the HP books to compete–aka something in the Mauraders or the Next Generation Eras. I would love to see supplemental books, such as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages, and Tales of Beedle the Bard. We REALLY need an official Encyclopedia. Seriously. I would love to see a story about the Founders of Hogwarts–it could be written maybe like a cross between the Beedle stories and the HP stories. It wouldn’t be competing because it was so long ago. I think it could be really cool!

As far as snowy Hogsmeade–In the PoA book, Harry throws mud at Malfoy in the Spring so it’s obviously not always snowy.

  I think our official encyclopedia is called Pottermore. It’d be cool to have it on paper, but for now, it looks like it’ll be all online.

Loved the song section of the episode. :)

I do have a question, though – If Voldemort was afraid of death, which I assume he was, with all of his attempts at immortality, then why didn’t he become a ghost?

As far as the Marauders go, to say that some peril worth telling a story about was actually happening at the time, would sound rather unrealistic. While Voldemort was in power, the Marauders were not involved in the war until after they left school. While at Hogwarts the Marauders were simply going to school, and any noteworthy story (James saving Severus from Remus in werewolf form) has already been told.
But I think a small book about the founding of Hogwarts, the unrest between Slytherin and Gryffindor, and finally the big confrontation and Slytherin leaving (possibly an epic duel in between?), would be great.
