The latest episode of MuggleCast is here, and it features our 4th Annual MuggleCasties Awards! We asked listeners to vote in a variety of categories pertaining to the past year of Harry Potter, and we received over 8,000 ballots!

- The end of the year can only mean one thing: MuggleCast’s Year in Review show!
- We discuss the final news stories of 2011, and recap the seven BIGGEST stories of the year.
- We host the 4th Annual MuggleCasties Awards.
- MuggleCast listeners vote in numerous categories pertaining to Potter topics over the past year.
- WHO could win the 4th annual J.K. Rowling award? Could it be Ben Schoen?
- We look at what’s to come in 2012 for Potter fans.

Yay! An early Christmas present. If only we had a new Hunger Games Chat… maybe to ring in the new year? :P

I totally voted for the Gringott’s Dragon… he was my favorite. I think I had a tear in my eye when it looked like he was smiling when he started flying. Beautiful.

I voted for Alan Rickman. He was truly the most consistent actor in the series, and the way he portrayed The Prince’s Tale… many tears fall every time I watch it.

Ahhh yes!!! But what about Chapter by Chapter?!…I miss all the analysis so much! When will it be coming back??

  Me too! What happened??? They helped me look at the books in a different, deeper way. I believe we left off the the beginning of book 5?

I miss Jamie, Ben, Laura, and Mikey on these so much. Not that Andrew, Eric, and Micah aren’t great, but I remember when there would be five or six hosts on the show, now it’s always only three:(
