Jelly babies for everyone, all of our regular hosts from around the globe are back on this episode! Hypable’s regular Doctor Who writer, Laura Byrne-Cristiano leads the discussion with Jen Lamoreux, Natalie Fisher, and Tariq Herzallah joining in.

-We start off by giving our instant thumbs up, down, or sideways reaction to the episode. It’s a thumbs up for Laura, Jen and Tariq and a thumbs sideways for Natalie. As a generality we are getting a little tired of this reset the universe thing.

-Next we get into the specifics of the episode

• We share our favorite quotes most of which have to do with the newly dubbed Lancashire sass.
• We liked the concept of the episode and the TARDIS protecting itself. There was a strong sense of pace/danger/mystery.
• The shout out to the previous characters via words from the past and trinkets where good, but we wanted more trinkets from classic Who.
• We aren’t so sure we like this Amy’s crack thing. We also have a crack theory—cue rim shot—on the crack.
• Some of us knew the Doctor was bluffing on the self destruct and others were fooled.
• Did you know the Doctor was bluffing on the countdown timer?
• Will Clara remember, why or why not
• The rooms were cool:
  • Hurrah Classic Who the Eye of Harmony is back with decent CGI
  • Swimming pool
  • The Library lots of questions here, but major props to Hypable readers Cindy, Helen, and Agnes and because we love it!
  • The Heart of tardis kind of a letdown?
• Doctor and Clara relationship: Is this is the base model? Is there a romance?
• So how do we segway to The Crimson Horror?
