Superfans: Karen and Caitlin
Newbies: Kristen and Mitch

Fun Facts:
Mitch is driving Lyft and seeing a variety of Halloween costumes. Kristen’s life has been changed by new pillows, and tells a story of a stuffed clown she saw tied to someone’s car. Caitlin is continuing her Halloween tradition of watching The Nightmare Before Christmas. Karen tells a take of her poor broken headphones and gets really excited when talking about her new bleeding skull candle.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 4, episode 18, “Where the Wild Things Are”:
-Synopsis
-Caitlin is not necessarily a fan of this episode.
-It has a writer in common with “Beer Bad”
-Newbie thoughts on this episode.
-The couple that slays together stays together.
-House of horrors… and sexual satisfaction. *Awkward*
-Tara is the most accurate barometer for magical and mystical craziness. If she’s worried BELIEVE HER.
-Mitch has a lot of thoughts and feelings about Tara’s style and makeup.
-Anya freaks out about skipping a night of sex. Xander just thinks there’s more to a relationship than sex.
-Bravo to character growth for Xander.
-Mitch is definitely team Xanya. *obligatory Tyra Banks/America’s Next Top Model reference*
-Anya is really good for Xander. She’s provoking growth. We love this.
-Spike and Anya bonding time.
-Adam was in this episode… in case you forgot.

Angel season 1, episode 18, “Five by Five”:
-Synopsis
-Ugh Darla, but yay for finally seeing the pivotal moment where Angelus becomes Angel.
-Angel’s transition from soulless to soulful compliments Faith’s storyline really beautifully here.
-Cordelia: Is she growing or is this just a need for comedic relief?
-Wolfram and Hart hire Faith. Was her heart really in killing Angel?
-LOVE that line up shot when Angel Investigations team sees Faith for the first time.
-Angel plays lawyer. Muah ha ha ha.
-Cordelia needs to pull a Stranger Things and use Christmas lights to communicate better with Dennis. He really is trying to help most of the time.
-Faith and Wesley.
-There was a moment in this scene where Wesley could have turned a lot of things around for Faith a lot earlier.
-Faith makes everything personal. She wants the same personal connections that everyone has with Buffy, but she’s never been able to get them.
-Lots of final scene thoughts.

Listener Feedback:
-Some appreciation for Angel in a suit.
-The many spellings of Karen.
-Someone is glad we went back to the old format for 2-parters. The newbies are just going to have to suffer like the original viewers.
-A whole lotta love for “Five by Five.”
