Sam is back for our second “Summer” podcast. We discuss the multiple gimmicks that were used in the last few seasons of Grey’s Anatomy.

In this episode we discuss: “I Saw What I Saw” (6×06, perspective episode), “Time Warp” (6×15, flashback of Ellis, Callie and Bailey), “These Arms Of Mine” (7×06, the documentary), “The Song Beneath the Song” (7×18, The Musical Event), “What is It About Men” (8×04, the all male episode), and “If/Then” (8×13, the Alternate Universe)

The aim of our discussion is to analyze these gimmicks in order to determine if they served the storylines.

In the end of each episode discussion we give our verdict : Are we in favor or not of the gimmick?

What will be the gimmicks of season 9?

This episode's hosts: Amanda, Kay and Sam

the one that i really enjoyed was the documentary episode.  I think it was one of the best way to talk about the aftermath of the shooting, it was very enjoyable. :)

I really like this podcast, but I find it hard to listen to because the sound quality isn’t great. I also find it really difficult that your voices come out of different sides of my earphones instead of in stereo. Is there any way you can improve that?

    • Seriouslygreyspodcast

Thanks for the feedback. For this precise podcast one of the hosts had problems with her headset so the sound quality took a hit. We’ll consider your comment concerning stereo. That said, we’ll see what we can do about sound quality in general, thanks again for the comment.
