Onceable is the latest addition to the Hypable podcasting network. The show is dedicated to in-depth discussion about ABC’s Once Upon a Time: show and cast commentary, casting news, rumors, and more.

The four hosts of the show are Hypable’s book writer Jen Lamoureux, our Once Upon a Time news reporter Selina Wilken, as well as Laura Byrne-Cristiano and Karen Rought.

In our first episode, we discuss events from last season, season 2 news, and theories. We plan to do bi-weekly episodes until Once Upon a Time returns in September, and then we’ll have a new podcast out each week discussing the latest episode.

  yeah but mugglecast is, most of the time, all males as well. they do invite female guests, so who’s to say it won’t happen vice versa?

    I suppose I should have specified the “interesting” part, but that’s what I was thinking of when I saw that it was all females! I usually listen to podcasts with mostly guys, so I’m excited to start listening to one with females :)
    
    Although, it would be interesting to hear a guys POV of the show, I don’t know many who watch it though :p

      All of the other Once Upon a Time podcasts in iTunes have guys, especially ONCE – Once Upon a Time podcast, which has three male hosts and one female.

Great podcast ladies! I can’t wait to hear your episode discussions in a couple weeks when season 2 starts!

As far as what I am most looking forward to, it would have to be more from the Pinnochio storyline and more from Jiminey cricket. I also loved Red’s storyline, too! Definitely looking forward to an excellent season 2!

Onceable!

What a fantastic name for something so bloody fantastic as Once Upon A Time!
I am easily amused :D

Its Hype”able” and Once combined.. I just realized that.

Goodness, I love to type and type I do.. So I will address just about everything I can..

Where do I begin.

First off, I have just a great intuitive system of something because I just had a feeling that a Once Upon A Time podcast.. would take its grand ball entrance, sometime soon.

I take long hiatuses from my Hypeable obsession like the telly does.. but like critically claimed shows like this one, they do come back..

I absolutely love almost every single story on Once Upon A Time.
From Snow/Charming to Regina and her Father Henry.. to the treasure of goodness in Emma and Henry.

I adore Jefferson.. and I could probably write a thesis on how much I adore him.

A Few stand out.. like RED RIDING ROOD for sure! Also Pinocchio/August W. Booth, and Jiminey Cricket… with course Geppetto..

I really want to see how the Marco/August father-son relationship works out actually.

……..*cricket* *cricket* wait no.. *chirp* *chirp*….

But I think a favorite surprisingly is Rumpelstiltskin’s son Baelfire. Especially if the theory from Jen or Laura said about Baelfire being Henry’s father would definitely add another dynamic to the show. (I have no idea if I spelling his name right but its better than “Fireball”.. which is my macbook pro’s auto correct.)

Rumpelstiltskin would be a grand-father and that would make a Belle a step-grandma (if they marry) .. interestingly weird in a uh good way?

I am so upset about the stupidity of the Emmy consultants or cabinet and the ridiculousness of having to be “edgy”.

What rule is this? WHY?!

Can’t prime-time television be next to cable, it has before..
But eventually everything will synchronize and Robert Carlye will get his Emmy.

I will exalt the day when that arises like a nice purple cloud of magic.. ;D

I do not know who said it but I am also a HUGE Merlin fan… so I am quite looking forward to seeing Queen Guinevere lover .. Sir Lancelot. *da-da-ah*

In my eyes, it will always be Santiago Cabrera but Sinqui Walls will probably impress me as well.. knowing my amused self.

I can discover critique if need be, believe me I could take out my soap-box and stand and rant about the things I find incompatible but *that* IS not my purpose for today..

You never mentioned the name of the first episode of season 2 but I think its quite obvious that the curse is “Broken”>>.

Or it could reference to other things as well but I will not read into it..

“Onceable”…??? What does that even mean? Hypable = potential to have hype or be hyped up. But, Onceable? Am I missing the sense in that?
Let’s have a listener competition to come up with a better name!
Looking forward to listening at work tommorow :) I think OUAT is a good show but I do have my problems with it sometimes.

I am so happy that we finally have a OUAT podcast! :) Thank you!

I am really excited to find out who Dr. Whale is. I love David Anders, especially when he was in Vampire Diaries and Heroes! Part of me has this theory that he is Peter Pan. I know Peter is meant to be younger, but maybe as part of Regina’s curse he was made to grow up as maybe Peter did something to annoy Regina (as everyone seems to do!) and that could be why he looked so confused in the season finale when the curse was broken.

I know its a long shot, but I really don’t want to think he is the whale in Pinocchio, too obvious.

Loved the podcast guys! Cannot wait for the next episode :)

I’m so glad Hypable finally made a podcast for Once Upon A Time. I was desperately needing it. Hopefully Onceable will update much more frequently than HeroHype does, but so far I’m very pleased with the dynamics of the podcast. I was worried that there wouldn’t be a Micah-esque person who would be willing to call out the show for its faults as well as offer praise for its successes. I’m glad to see I was wrong. There’s a nice balance of that from what I’ve heard so far.

As for what I’m hoping for the upcoming season, I’m still holding onto the hope that Bae is Peter Pan because I’m not willing to let him grow up just yet. I can’t wait to find out who Dr. Whale is, as well as seeing how Rumpel takes his revenge against Regina. I’m very sad that Sebastian Stan isn’t a regular, though I completely understand how busy his schedule is and how such a thing would be practically impossible. I loved his performance on the show and how he really pulled out a depth to Jennifer’s acting abilities that we hadn’t really gotten a chance to see beforehand.

Since one of the creator’s favorite story is Peter Pan, would they eventually bring Wendy and the Lost Boys or just Captain Hook.. or even TinkerBell!

Tinkerbell is not only in Disney right? I think.

I read an earlier comment about Dr. Whale maybe being Peter Pan..
Then Peter Pan really is a jerk as adult male looking for love.

Maybe he only nice to Wendy. I like the idea and I forgot to mention David Anders being one of my favorite actors.

If we had to name ourselves as fans of the show and the podcast.. wouldn’t it be adorable to name ourselves Onesies, you know what babies wear… the one piece.. I thought that would be cute because when did we hear our first fairytale stories.. when we little.. :D

Or is there already a name out there… maybe even better than mine, maybe?

I’m only halfway through your podcast, but you hosts started talking about Season 2 guest stars and possible plot lines for Season 2. What about this?

Remember in the Mad Hatter episode in Wonderland, he and Regina get back Henry (the father, not the son) from the Queen of Hearts? Ever think that the Queen of Hearts is really Regina’s mother? Most of the dialogue in those scenes lead to that conclusion and we never really see the Queen of Hearts’ face either. I don’t know it it was something that crossed any of your minds.
