The Scorpion Rules Book Discussion:
-AI is taking over the world, but it is does so with humanities best intentions in mind
-Was the back cover a good indicator of what to expect?
-What about the world did we enjoy?
-The Preceptures take away the children of rulers to prevent war. Effective or not?
-Greta, our main character, accepts her fate and sticks to her role as a sacrificial lamb in the grander plan of her parents
-AI are like those battling in Person of Interest (According to Brittany, anyway)
-This isn’t your typical romance where the challenging boy sweeps Greta away– thankfully!
-Elian grandma took power and so he is forced into the system later in life
-Xie, we need her spin off novel ASAP
-What do we think of the relationships in this novel?
-Elian’s grandmother is an interesting woman who has something to fight for
-Brittany fails to capture the Hamilton reference about Burr
-Is Greta almost an AI after she gets tossed into power?

-We’re heading to NYC Comic Con next week!

Our September book is Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Book 1: The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan/strong>
