Pink has released lyric videos for five songs from her upcoming album, The Truth About Love, including her duets with Fun. frontman Nate Ruess and Lily Rose Cooper (formerly Lily Allen). Her collab with Eminem was also leaked.
The “So What” singer has been unveiling her new songs since Tuesday when she first released “Try.” Since then, five more lyric videos have been posted on Vevo – including her duet with Ruess in a piano love song full of emotion.
“Just give me a reason/ Just a little bit’s enough/ Just a second we’re not broken, just bent/ And we can learn to love again./ It’s in the stars/ It’s been written in the scars on our hearts./ We’re not broken, just bent/ And we can learn to love again,” the duo sing in “Just Give Me A Reason” from Pink’s upcoming album out Sept. 18.
The much-hyped Eminem duet doesn’t have a lyric video, but the song did leak online Tuesday. Listen to the party song at XXL Mag.
“Here comes/ Comes the weekend/ Hear it calling like a siren/ We don’t look for trouble/ Just enough to seeing double,” Pink sings in the chorus. Eminem jumps in with his rap, “I’m probably not gonna be wanting to pop bubbly or Ciroc/ I’m not Puffy, but I’ma run the city tonight/ When I hit it, I might act like a freakin’ idiot/ Diddy mixed with a medieval knight, big city lights/ Little indignity, hot diggity/ This Biggie is gettin’ me hype.”
“How Come You’re Not Here,” “Slut Like You” and “Are We All We Are” – the more rock-heavy tracks released so far – are also available on Youtube. That leaves six more songs from the 13-track album to be revealed.
The aptly named Truth About Love will be Pink’s sixth studio album, following 2008’s Funhouse, which produced hits in “So What,” “Please Don’t Leave Me” and “Sober.”
