The late Paul Walker had filmed a couple films before his passing that have yet to be released. The trailer for Brick Mansions has just been released.
Paul Walker was undoubtedly best known for his turn as Brian O’Conner in the The Fast and the Furious series, but he had several other roles as well. In Brick Mansions, Walker returns to similar action to his most famous franchise.
In Brick Mansions Walker stars as an undercover cop who tries to infiltrate a gang whose leader is a ruthless crime lord with access to a neutron bomb. Starring alongside walker is rapper RZA.
Check out the trailer that was just released on Brick Mansions‘s YouTube account:
While the trailer looks like a movie that wouldn’t get too much attention if it were not for Walker’s tragic passing last November, unfortunately that is not the case. In a perfect world, Walker would be here and this film would ironically not be as big of a deal, but it’s not a perfect world.
Brick Mansion was directed by Camille Delamarre, editor of such action films like Taken 2 and Transporter 3. It will be his feature film debut. The script was written by Luc Besson (Taken, The Fifth Element) and Bibi Naceri (District B13).
Here’s the official synopsis:
In a dystopian Detroit, abandoned brick mansions left from better times now house only the most dangerous criminals. Unable to control the crime, the police constructed a colossal containment wall around this area to protect the rest of the city. For undercover cop Damien Collier (Paul Walker) every day is a battle against corruption. For Lino (David Belle), every day is a fight to live an honest life. Their paths never should have crossed, but when drug kingpin, Tremaine (RZA) kidnaps Lino’s girlfriend, Damien reluctantly accepts the help of the fearless ex-convict, and together they must stop a sinister plot to devastate the entire city.
