Has Parks and Recreation funnyman Chris Pratt (Andy Dwyer in the show) landed himself another serious role to add to his burgeoning legacy? He just might’ve with Oscar-winning director Katheryn Bigelow’s Kill Bin Ladin.
According to NextMovie, Pratt is in talks to star in the film, which will be directed by the same woman who brought forth The Hurt Locker and made history by becoming the first female director to win the Best Director Oscar prize.
Another serious film we’ve seen Pratt in lately is Moneyball, in which he played a baseball player, Scott Hatteberg.
No doubt, Chris Pratt is trying to make sure the world knows he is not, in fact, Andy Dwyer, which is probably a good move since Andy can’t be trusted to staple something properly let alone lead up a major Hollywood movie. Pratt just owns the role so well that it is understandable that someone might make such a mistake.
Good move, Chris!
Until then, let’s enjoy this NBC “Best of Andy” video, shall we?
