Orphan Black returns tonight with the second episode of the third season, “Transitory Sacrifices of Crisis,” and it looks like Sarah’s stepping back into Beth’s shoes for the night.
Last week on ‘Orphan Black’
We were introduced to more clones from Project Castor, and we learned that Rachel Duncan had been working with Ferdinand, a Topside agent, to terminate all of her sisters. Luckily, Sarah managed to impersonate Rachel and get the information out of Ferdinand in time to stop him from killing Alison.
Speaking of which, Alison’s got her own problems this season. One of the women at her school is running for school trustee, and is working to change the neighborhood school district so her kids would have to change schools. Since she’s a boss-ass bitch she decided she’s going to run against Marci, and has Donnie’s support since Donnie got fired from his job.
Meanwhile, Cosima and Scott agreed to keep the book with Duncan’s key in it a secret from the rest of the sisters, and Delphine broke up with Cosima so she can focus on her new position at the DYAD and keep everyone safe.
This week, Beth returns
The synopsis for this week’s episode reads: “Castor pursues the Leda clones for original tissue samples. Helena, who is pregnant and imprisoned, is examined by a mysterious new villain. The Castor boys are also out to play, toying with a frightened young woman, Patty, in a sexy switcheroo that ultimately sets Sarah – and Art – hot on the Castor trail. But it’s not all fun and games for the Castor boys, as Sarah gleans they may have a mysterious defect that puts their lives in peril.”
