With the premiere merely a week away, the details for Once Upon a Time‘s second season are pouring in. Find out more about Dr. Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket, the man who will play Quinn, and some upcoming episode titles!
Once Upon a Fan recently interviewed Raphael Sbarge, who plays Archie/Jiminy on Once. The interview covers a whole range of topics, including more about the actor’s background, his past projects, and what he’s got in store for the future. There were a few good season 2 nuggets as well.
When asked if he thinks Jiminy will have a tough time adjusting to Storybrooke, he replied:
I love the conflict, of course — makes for good fun for the acting department. But, needless to say, Archie is trying to make sense of the huge change, and it has not always been an easy transition to do so. As well, so many other folks are looking to re-evaluate their choices… So, with things as they are now, I feel like there is some job security ahead for this guy as a therapist, in a town which has been turned on its head. As well, it will be so interesting to see when Archie has his own “Crisis of Conscience” — as yet, not on the radar, but will be a facinating when Eddie and Adam get to visit that.
He was also asked about a possible love interest for Archie in the future. He responded that he’d love the idea, but that Archie does have a lot to explore outside of his office now. But it’s definitely a possibility, he says. As for the rest of his future? Sbarge says that he looks forward to Archie’s faith being tested.
We also now know who will be playing Quinn this season. The actor, Ben Hollingsworth, announced it himself via Twitter:
