The “Jealous” singer and former member of The Jonas Brothers will join Ryan Murphy’s upcoming comedy-horror Scream Queens, set to premiere this fall on Fox.
THR exclusively reported Nick Jonas joining Scream Queens earlier today. Jonas, like Ariana Grande, will be featured in a recurring role on the show. The show will feature 15 hour-long episodes about a college campus that is rocked with a series of murders. Much like Ryan Murphy’s super successful American Horror Story, subsequent seasons of the show will change settings and storylines, reports THR. There’s no word on what type of character Nick Jonas will be playing when he debuts this fall.
Jonas is currently featured on the DirecTV series Kingdom and had a hit last fall with his song “Jealous.” Jonas will join lead stars Lea Michele, Joe Manganiello, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, and horror legend Jamie Lee Curtis.
Though no details have been released about the plot of the show, fans are starting to wonder if Murphy and company will continue with musical-based formats after Glee and recently American Horror Story have included a music element. With power house singers like Lea Michele, Ariana Grande and now Nick Jonas, one has to assume there will be some musical element to Scream Queens.
Will you be tuning in to Scream Queens when it debuts this fall?
