The Force is with us this evening because a new Rogue One trailer just premiered during NBC’s 2016 Summer Olympic coverage.
Did you feel it? The Force was strong with NBC this evening when the latest trailer for the first Star Wars spinoff premiered during the swimming finals. Disney and Lucasfilm smartly placed the trailer after a tense race between American superstars Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte.
The new Rogue One Olympics trailer is a doozy, and quite frankly, an important moment for the Star Wars fandom: Darth Vader is back on screen. Sure, it’s only for a split second, and it’s only the back of his head… but dammit, he’s back y’all. (Remember: This movie is set before he was destroyed.)
