Emoji lovers, rejoice! New emojis have been approved for inclusion in mobile devices.
The Unicode Consortium has approved 37 emojis as part of an update to the Uni-code standard for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, and other smart devices. The Consortium is in charge of approving emojis so all devices can send and receive the same things (that way Android users can receive a hot dog emoji when an iPhone user sends one, for example).

It’s too early to know when these emojis will be added by Apple, Google, and Microsoft to their mobile operating systems, but hopefully they don’t take too long. We’re hungry to start using that damn taco emoji! Apple may wait until fall to release the new emojis in iOS, because last week they announced iOS 9 (due for release around September).
