It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Nathan Fillion on Netflix! The Castle alumn has officially signed on to join the cast of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.
According to The Wrap, Fillion is set to play Snicket’s brother on series, something we’re sure is bound to lead to some pretty interesting scenes.
As exiting as it is to hear Fillion’s officially signed on, he’s not the only new face joining the A Series of Unfortunate Events family.
The outlet also reports that actors Tony Hale, Sara Rue, Lucy Punch, and Roger Bart have also signed on to star in the upcoming season. It’s still unclear who they’ll be playing, but we’re sure Netflix will announce more details as the series moves further and further into production.
Overall, it’s looking like season 2 of Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate events is gearing up to be even more spectacular than the first.
We’ll be excited to tune in to see how the showrunners go about adapting the next installment of the Baudelaire children’s harrowing journey when the show picks back up again.
Though the online streaming giant announced in March of 2017 that Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events had officially been renewed for a second season, there’s no telling when we’ll be getting new episodes of the well-received adaptation.
Here’s hoping they make the announcement sooner rather than later — we can’t be the only ones itching to find out when we’ll get to see season 2 of Lemony Snicket’s beloved series come to life!
