If you’re at one of a few select schools across the United States, you’ll be pleased to hear that Monsters University is screening at your school way in advance of its June 21 opening.
Monsters University screenings have been scheduled in the following schools so far, and more may be added in the coming weeks:
– April 29 – Dallas/Ft. Worth – The Angelika Theater
– April 30 – San Diego, CA – AMC Mission Valley 20
– May 2 – Roseville, MN – AMC Rosedale 14
– May 7 – New York, NY – AMC Loews Village 7
– May 7 – Piscataway, NJ – Rutgers Cinema
– May 8 – Chicago, IL – Regal Webster Place 11
You can RSVP to any of the above screenings by visiting the Monsters University Facebook page. A school ID is required to attend the screening, and seats are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Since these dates obviously appeal to a limited number of people, we’ll keep an eye on the list of screenings and let you know if more are added.
Monsters University’s third and final trailer debuted last week and depicts Mike and Sulley’s struggling friendship. We see that they and their frat have to compete in The Scare Games in order to save their chances of being re-admitted into the school’s Scare Program, in which they both wish to make scaring a full-time career.
Monsters University opens in theaters June 21 and is the prequel to Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. released in 2001.
