Modern Family’s Cameron takes a rare opportunity to give Fulgencio a photo shoot, but with a hairdo that malfunctions, Cameron knows what’s coming…and it’s Gloria.
On Feb 20, Modern Family will air the 16th episode of the current season and as we reported way back in December, David Faustino will be guest starring. At the time, we were unsure which episode it would be, but we can confirm Faustino will play Drew, a former classmate of Claire’s. We’ve got a wonderful gallery down below that ABC have kindly provided fans for “Bad Hair Day.”
ABC have also revealed the official synopsis, and it appears as though Cameron is in for a hell of an episode.
Claire flies solo to her college reunion and runs into a professor she once dated, but when Phil shows up things get really awkward. Back at home, Jay is obsessed with winning his big bowling tournament, and Gloria is running ragged with the baby but won’t admit it. Mitchell offers to take baby Joe for a while, and Cameron seizes the opportunity to use him in one of his elaborate photo shoots. However, a wig malfunction leads to unfortunate results and no one wants to be the one to face Gloria, on Modern Family.
It appears to be that Phil is having some insecurity issues. Is he flying out all that way just to potentially keep an eye on Claire? Drew can’t be that much of a catch, surely? The episode will also feature Maxwell Caulfield as Professor Cooke, Annie Mumolo as Esther, Maribeth Monroe as Maggie and Craig Stepp as Dean Stoller. This episode is no doubt packed with guest stars, so we’re really in for a Modern Family treat.

But, the big hook of the episode still falls largely on Cameron’s lap. He’s taken advantage of having Fulgencio all to himself, and pairing Fulgencio with Lily in a photoshoot. The pictures we have provided really do show off how horrible that wig looks on Fulgencio, but what on earth could both Cameron and Mitchell do to anger the beast that is Gloria? We’ve all seen her temper in the past, and it looks set to be raging once again. Hopefully Cameron is still alive by the end of the episode.
Be sure to check out David Faustino’s cameo role as Drew in Modern Family‘s, “Bad Hair Day,” as well as all the other chaos that follows on ABC, Feb 20, 9 p.m. ET/PT.
