The Merlin actors reunited this weekend in Australia for the SupaNova 2013 convention, and decided to record themselves doing the Harlem Shake! Presented without comment.
Australian (and international, we’re sure) Merlin fans gathered over the weekend to see some of their favourite cast members at the SupaNova pop culture expos in both Perth and Sydney.
It was a Knights of Camelot reunion with Bradley James (Arthur), Tom Hopper (Percival), Eoin Macken (Gwaine) and Rupert Young (Leon) all in attendance, and the stars participated in a number of panels and Q&A sessions.
…And then this little gem appeared on YouTube.
We are not sure who came up with this brilliant madness, but it was uploaded by James. It features the five Knights dancing the “Harlem Shake,” joined by the lucky convention-goers:
So let’s have it, which Knight delivered the best performance? (And don’t forget to stay for the great little blooper at the end.)
Now we’re just waiting for “Oppa Merlin Style.” …No? Just us?
While there are several recordings of the panels and reports from fans that have come out of the convention, we recommend watching this official interview with all four of the actors where they discuss their future career moves, and what they miss most about working on Merlin.
Still missing ‘Merlin’?
As we were counting down the days until the Merlin series finale in December of 2012, Hypable.com hosted a giant “Month of Merlin” celebration of the BBC series.
You can still read all the articles and comment via this link. We also recently featured a “Where are they now?” article outlining what all the cast and crew have been working on since Merlin ended.
Recently we spoke to actor Alexander Vlahos (Mordred) about his role on the show and how it helped propel his career forward – read part 1 of the interview here!
