Tonight, AMC will premiere Mad Men season 7, episode 6 which is the penultimate new episode of 2014.
UPDATE: Read our recap of tonight’s surprising second-to-last episode!
It’s hard to believe, but because the network decided to split the final season into two halves, only seven episodes are airing this year. The remaining seven will air around this time in 2015. It’s a concept that AMC pulled off (very successfully) for the final season of Breaking Bad.
In tonight’s episode of Mad Men season 7 titled “The Strategy,” “Peggy determinedly collects research for a pitch, Pete is invited to join an exclusive club and Joan looks forward to spending time with her friend,” according to the official synopsis.
As always, the synopsis doesn’t provide any clues into what we can expect during the episode, and neither does the below trailer:
In last week’s episode of Mad Men we had easily one of the most interesting story lines of the season yet. Don had a threesome with Megan and her lady friend after a long night of partying and revelations. Meanwhile in New York, Peggy calls paramedics for Ginsberg who’s gone off the rails following his proximity to SC&P’s new supercomputer.
Following tonight’s new episode of Mad Men, we’ll have our recap online. Until then, check out our recap of last week’s episode!
