Eagle-eyed viewers who tuned into last night’s episode of Mad Men season 7 realized that a certain house was used once before.
The hippie home that Roger’s daughter Margaret decided to move into during Sunday night’s episode titled “The Monolith” is the same home that appeared in season 1’s “The Hobo Code” when we saw Don in a flashback living on a farm.

This isn’t the first time Mad Men used a familiar set. The whore house that Don lived in – seen in season 6 – made a brief appearance during Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video at the 10 minute, 35-second mark:
Perhaps we’re over thinking this, but could the hippie home/farm crossover be one of several times in the remaining ten episodes that Matt Weiner and crew make references to earlier parts of the series as they send the show into the sunset?
On last night’s episode of Mad Men, Don made his formal return to SC&P but struggled with being at the bottom of the organization. By the end of the episode it looked like he was ready to accept his new position. Meanwhile, Roger wasn’t able to bring his daughter back into the city so she could take care of her daughter.
