Following the recently released Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX for the PlayStation 3, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is officially announced.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will contain HD remasters of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (originally for PS2), Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix (originally for PSP), and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (originally for NDS).

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will release sometime in 2014 for the PlayStation 3, exclusively. As is confirmed by the PlayStation blog for the game’s announcement, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will release globally in 2014.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX released in September for the PlayStation 3. That collection included HD remasters of Kingdom Hearts I Final Mix (originally for the PS2), Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories (originally for the PS2), and remastered, unplayable cutscenes for the NDS game Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will follow the same format of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, in that the NDS game in the second HD collection, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, will also only be remastered cutscenes.
At E3 2013, the long awaited Kingdom Hearts III was finally announced. Although Kingdom Hearts III is in the preliminary stages of development, it was a relief for fans to have an official confirmation of a game they’d speculated about since Kingdom Hearts II‘s release in 2006.
