Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will bring back Doctor Who star Karen Gillan as Nebula. Will she cut off her hair again?
During a fan Q&A on Periscope, Guardians director James Gunn confirmed that Karen Gillan will reprise her role as Nebula in the upcoming sequel.
In the first movie, Nebula made a narrow escape from the Battle of Xandar, after cutting off her own mechanical hand.
That left plenty of room open for her return, and we can probably expect lots of tense sibling reunions between her and Gamora (Zoe Saldana) in the sequel.

James Gunn has previously said he has “so many plans” for the character, and it’s nice to get confirmation that Karen Gillan will indeed be back in the role.
Last time she played the part, she was still wrapping up work on Doctor Who, wearing a wig to conceal her newly bald head.
She’s since grown out her hair to a short bob, but now she might have to get it all shaved off again.
Gillan could last be seen in the short-lived ABC sitcom Selfie, and will be appearing in the historical miniseries The Devil You Know later this year.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 stars Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana, and is expected in May 2017.
