Universal released Jurassic World’s second trailer during this year’s Super Bowl where we see new dinosaurs and lots of park destruction.
Jurassic World’s first trailer was highly anticipated, and fans were instantly brought back to the beloved first film via John Williams’ famous score. The film’s Super Bowl trailer, viewable above, is just as exciting, and gives us more looks at stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Ty Simpkins. Several new clips are scattered in amongst previously seen footage.
The Super Bowl preview focuses on a new dinosaur, Indominus rex, created for the park. Unsurprisingly, this new guy causes some trouble for the park’s management as well as the tourists.
Jurassic World looks like it will be epic in every way, and this time it truly feels like the story takes place in a fully functional theme park, where everything goes terribly wrong. With the previous Jurassic Park films, this couldn’t happen due to the fact that there were never huge amounts of people stuck in the parks during the action.
Now with the park completely full, and open, Jurassic World should make for a huge disaster movie with some incredibly talented actors. Starring alongside Pratt and Howard in Jurassic World are Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Katie McGrath, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lauren Lapkus, Omar Sy, and Jurassic Park vet BD Wong.
Jurassic World was written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, who took over screenwriting duties when Trevorrow signed on to direct. Jurassic World will be hitting theaters on June 12, 2015.
