Sad like us that you won’t be able to get to London for J.K. Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy reading and Q&A this Thursday at Queen Elizabeth Hall?
You need not fret – you can digitally attend the J.K. Rowling live stream!
It was announced today that Rowling’s interview with Mark Lawson, which we had originally told you about in August, will be streamed live on YouTube beginning at 7:30 PM GMT (2:30 PM ET, 11:30 AM PT) on Thursday, Sept. 27. You can use the Twitter hashtag #TheCasualVacancy to communicate with organizers throughout the day, though they’re not promising you can pose any questions to the author.
We’ll be sure to remind you about the livestream later this week. We’ll be watching along with you!
Where else will you see Rowling this week? On September 26 on BBC 2 she will participate in a special called Writing for Grown-Ups. In the United States she’ll be appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America, Nightline, and World News programs.

In addition to her London event, J.K. Rowling will be appearing in Cheltenham, England, New York City, and Edinburgh, Scotland. At each event will be at least a signing and Q&A.
