On Monday night’s Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Idina Menzel and the NBC comedian performed a completely new version of Frozen’s “Let It Go.”
Menzel, who had appeared at the Oscars Sunday night to perform the Oscar-winning song, operated a triangle while Fallon and members of his in-house band The Roots took on other classroom instruments. It’s arguably just as good as any other version Menzel has created, and definitely the most fun.

Monday’s show also welcomed Fallon’s fellow Saturday Night Live alum Tina Fey. Before that, Fallon talked about his time in Chicago over the weekend where he participated in the Polar Plunge. For participating in the event, city mayor Rahm Emanuel presented Fallon with a proclamation, calling March 2014 “The Tonight Show of Jimmy Fallon Month” in his city.
