You know that feeling, you’re watching the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer for the fiftieth time and keep thinking, “Gee, I wish it had more Jar Jar Binks?”
Don’t get us wrong, both the teaser trailer and the first theatrical trailer for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been pretty great.
But as all Star Wars fans know, adding everyone’s favorite kooky Gungan sidekick Jar Jar Binks will instantly make everything just a little bit better.

The BB8 droid? Cute. Kylo Ren’s lightsaber? Could be better. A female Jedi? Ehh. But Jar Jar Binks? Now we know the movie’s gonna be a hit!
Lucky for us, Murdock Motion has put together an awesome faux The Force Awakens trailer, inserting the fan-favorite (…we do hope you realize we’re kidding) character into the original trailer’s most pivotal scenes. Plus, they’ve added some more manips, for your viewing pleasure:
Not only is this parody trailer really well done (did you notice Jar-Jar ambling around in the corner of the screen during that first pan? Amazing), but it’s also a hysterically accurate depiction of most Star Wars fans’ worst nightmare brought to life.

Not only does Murdock Motion add Jar Jar to the mix, but they remove the best moment in the trailer: the return of Han Solo and Chewbacca. It’s beautiful in its total destruction of everything we love.
Could you imagine if J.J. Abrams actually decided to bring back the most hated character in the Star Wars universe for Episode VII? We shudder at the thought!
