Revolution, a new drama series by Lost and Supernatural creators J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke, has been added to the NBC fall line-up.
The creative collaboration of the masterminds behind Lost and Supernatural seemed like something fans could only dream of, but Kripke and Abrams have indeed joined forces to bring us Revolution, which will premiere on NBC in the fall!
Produced by Lost, Alias and Fringe creator J.J. Abrams and written by Supernatural creator and former showrunner Eric Kripke, Revolution is described by the LA Times as, “An action drama about people attempting to survive in a world where all forms of energy have suddenly ceased to exist.”
As if these two BNS’s (Big Name Showrunners) weren’t enough to draw you to the project, the pilot was directed by Jon Favreau (who recently served as producer on The Avengers and has previously directed Cowboys & Aliens and Iron Man), and the star-studded line-up includes Billy Burke (Twilight), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Tracy Spiradakos, Graham Rogers, David Lyons, and Tim Guinee.
We can’t wait to learn more about the project – and let’s hope it can create enough pre-premiere buzz to score solid ratings when it begins airing in the fall!
