Since Rebecca text someone from Michaela’s phone in the How to Get Away with Murder season 1 finale, we’ve all been wondering: Who is ‘Eggs 911’?
In case you need a little reminder, this is the text we are talking about.
It was swept under the rug pretty quickly last season, but now that things are back in full swing, we are fully expecting this mystery to bloom into a fully fledged problem before too long. Here’s what we know about ‘Eggs 911’ after watching How to Get Away with Murder season 2, episode 2.
Michaela just couldn’t help herself.
While everyone seemed to give Michaela the same advice about the mysterious text sent from her phone, Michaela just couldn’t help herself. She had to text the mystery number and see if she could fix something, so she sent the message, “Hi.”
A few mysterious messages return.
At the very end of the season premiere we saw that ‘Eggs 911’ sent her back two messages. You can see both in the image below:
Whether or not ‘Eggs 911’ knows it’s not Rebecca he or she is texting, seeing a response to Michaela’s original message is hair-raising to say the least. We don’t know if this person is friend or foe, but the mystery surrounding him or her is certainly compelling.
Then there’s the beautiful stranger…
This incredibly attractive young man named Levi stops Michaela and Connor in the courthouse and makes no secret of the fact that is he interested in Michaela. She rebuffs his advances much to Connor’s chagrin, but later on definitely revisits her options. This stranger seemed to come out of nowhere, and was incredibly dedicated to getting Michaela’s number. Could he have another agenda?
And the picture, too…
The most damning piece of evidence that has us convinced that Levi is the person Rebecca was texting when she send that “Eggs 911” distress call on Michaela’s phone is the picture. When Wes was going through the boxes of Rebecca’s stuff that the landlord had packed up due to her not having been in contact with him in a while, a picture was shown to contain both Rebecca and Levi’s faces next to each other. Who was Levi to Rebecca? And what does the word “Eggs” in the “Eggs 911” text message stand for? Hopefully How to Get Away with Murder season 2, episode 3 will answer those questions and more when it airs this Thursday at 10 p.m. after Scandal on ABC.
