Netflix announced Thursday afternoon that House of Cards is getting a fourth season.
The announcement was made using this image on the House of Cards Twitter account. Frank wants to be remembered, as you can tell by this tweet:

Showrunner Beau Willimon revealed he and his team have been working on season 4 for a while:
Official – S4 of @HouseofCards announced. But the writers & I have been secretly writing for months hehe. @netflix pic.twitter.com/rmra1rWBlj

The brilliance of season 4 is that it’ll be depicting Frank Underwood’s 2016 Presidential campaign as viewers watch him in the year 2016. In addition, the plot will be perfectly timed with the excitement surrounding the real 2016 election taking place in the United States of America.
After that worrisome cliffhanger in the House of Cards season 3 finale (no spoilers!), we can now look forward to seeing how Frank decides to deal with one of his biggest issues yet.
Netflix has released each new season of House of Cards in February, so we suspect that season 4 will premiere all episodes in February 2016. The Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright-led drama is one of the streaming service’s most popular shows.
And now we wait.
